While doing some research for my Africa project I was curious to know the history about the Moroccan flag and what it represented, especially about the star that they have in the middle what they call the Seal of Solomon. During my research I cam along through some cool web sites that talked all about the flag and what it represented and the what the colors symbolized. Something interesting that i found out was that before the Moroccan flag was adopted in November 17,1915 there flag was plain white. In the early 17th century was when they added the red color to there flag to symbolize there religion (red and green are really two religious colors). The star that's in the middle which is called the seal of Solomon represents the link between god and the nation.

Interview
For the interview that one of my group members got for us was with a man from morocco. His name is Youniss El Chedaddir. He moved to the United States a few years ago. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to the interview with my group mates but lucky for me my group members had recorded it on video tape. So from what I saw in the video tape he looked like a real calm person, He was very professional and very organized. In the interview he had a power point set up for us. He told them that the only reason that he moved from morocco was because there was better opportunities in the United States. Some interesting facts that he gave us about morocco was that since Spain was right next to them most of there coulter is dominated by the Spaniards like there language. He commented that in the schools of morocco there are two languages that you can learn either English or Spanish. He told us that he finished college in morocco and then moved over here to the unite states due to a program that he signed up for where he was a spokes person for Walt-Disney.
